Operation and maintenance of electrolytic chlorine sodium hypochlorite generator

The operation and maintenance of electrolytic chlorine sodium hypochlorite generator is crucial to ensure its efficiency, safety, and continuous production. Equipment maintenance mainly includes the following aspects:
1. Maintenance of saltwater pretreatment system: The pretreatment system needs to regularly clean the filter screen, filter and softening equipment to prevent impurities and hardness ions from entering the electrolytic cell, avoid scaling in the electrolytic cell, and affect the electrolysis efficiency. In addition, regularly monitor the concentration of saltwater to ensure it meets the process requirements.
2. Maintenance of electrolytic cells: Electrolytic cells are the core equipment for electrolytic chlorine production. The electrodes (anode and cathode) need to be regularly inspected for corrosion, scaling, or damage, and cleaned or replaced in a timely manner. For membrane electrolysis equipment, the integrity of the ion membrane is crucial. Regularly check the condition of the membrane to avoid membrane damage that may lead to performance degradation or leakage.
3. Maintenance of pipelines and valves: Chlorine gas and hydrogen gas have certain corrosiveness, and relevant pipelines and valves should be made of corrosion-resistant materials. Regular leak detection and anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out to ensure the sealing and safety of the gas transmission system.
4. Safety system inspection: Due to the flammable and toxic nature of chlorine and hydrogen, it is necessary to regularly inspect the alarm system, ventilation facilities, and explosion-proof devices of the equipment to ensure that they can respond quickly and take measures in case of abnormal situations.
5. Electrical equipment maintenance: Electrolytic equipment involves high voltage operation, and regular inspections of the electrical control system, power supply, and grounding devices are required to prevent production interruptions or safety accidents caused by electrical failures.
Through scientific operation and maintenance management, the service life of electrolytic chlorine production equipment can be extended, ensuring efficient and safe production.
